Function Circle Widget

The Function Circle displays the currently played chords in a circle, using colors to represent their function.

Settings

Circle Order

Selects the scale degree order:

• Seconds: Regular diatonic order - e.g. I, ii, iii, IV, etc...
• Thirds: Order by thirds so that chords which similar functions are grouped together - e.g. vi, I, iii, etc...

Shortcuts

• Double-click: switch between circle orders (seconds or thirds).

Common shortcuts (shared across all widgets)

• Ctrl + C: Clones the widget, creating a new instance with the same settings.
• Ctrl + Left Click: Opens the contextual menu for front/back ordering, background transparency, and widget linking options.
