Kodaly Hand Signs Widget

The Kodaly Hand Signs widget displays Kodaly solfège hand signs, using the highest pitch as a reference. If Movable Do mode is enabled (default), the widget also considers the current tonality.

Note

To set the tonality, use the Key Selector from the Toolbar or use the Double Staff MouseWheel shortcuts.

Settings

Type

• Movable Do (default): Hand signs are generated based on scale degrees (Do, Re, Mi) relative to the current tonality.
• Fixed Do: Hand signs are generated for absolute pitches, regardless of tonality.

Shortcuts

Common shortcuts (shared across all widgets)

• Ctrl + C: Clones the widget, creating a new instance with the same settings.
• Ctrl + Left Click: Opens the contextual menu for front/back ordering, background transparency, and widget linking options.
